Perfectly Pleasing Pumpkin Bread!
Of course when fall begins we are all overly devoted to all things pumpkin spice! I’m pretty sure America has ruined pumpkins by adding pumpkin spice to ALL THINGS edible I mean seriously, there’s bread, pancakes, coffee, cinnamon rolls, even chapstick!
Whatever the case I tried this recipe on October 1st and again on October 6th because all 4 loaves were fine by the time I was ready to take my blog worthy picture. My family literally devoured this bread!
I’m going to give you all my quick and easy recipe so you can make this in a flash and It literally takes less than 15 minutes to prepare and only 45 minutes to bake so you’ll have something scrumptious in about an hour.
So what you need to do is go your nearest pumpkin patch for a relaxing family date and pick the perfect baking pumpkin. Yes, there is definitely a difference between a baking pumpkin and a Halloween decorating one so make sure you have the right one.
First, grease your pans!!!!! Unless you want to eat it out of the pan because it will definitely stick.
Next… The Ingredients!
you’re going to need
15 ounces of pumpkin purée (1.87 cups)
1 cup of oil (safflower or vegetable)
1 cup of water
And you want to mix all of those ingredients together those are the wet ingredients and make sure you keep them separate from the dry.
Then you’re going to need
31/3 cups of flour
3 cups sugar
3/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
Mix the dry ingredients together. Once they are completely mixed, add in the wet ingredients and enjoy the aroma. Seriously, it’s the best smell! Once the ingredients are all mixed in, go ahead and even pour into your four loaf pans. I picked mine up at the dollar tree and they were 3 for $1.
Bake for 45-60 mixtures (depending on your over) at 350 degrees. Check with tooth pick or butter knife at 45 mins and every 5 mins after.
once it cools…you’re done!
Now go and enjoy this awesome tasting pumpkin bread with family & friends! Oh and if you try it don’t forget to @loveeringreen me! Until next time…❤️
